Ifo Business Survey for January 2006

The business climate in German industry, trade and services improved strongly in January 2005. For the first time since May 2000, a positive balance value was reached. The rise was especially marked with the expectations, but the enterprises were also more satisfied with their current business situation. These results indicate that the to-now moderate economic upswing could gain tempo.
