What would a future-oriented energy supply system look like and what importance can be assigned to the Renewable Energy Law. Prof. Rainer Frank, E.ON AG, criticises the law's lack of a European perspective. For Bernhard Hillebrand, EEFA, Münster, and Prof. Wolfgang Ströbele, University of Münster, the expansion of regenerative sources of energy is at best a long-term option. Stephan Kohler, dena, Berlin, argues for an innovation offensive. Prof. Uwe Leprich, University of Applied Sciences, Saarbrücken, stresses the necessity of a stronger decentralization of the energy supply system.
