Flight from Germany? Businesses caught between market logic and social responsibility

"Outsourcing" was the subject of a conference held at the Academy for Political Education in Tutzing, under Prof. Peter Hampe, from 27 to 29 May 2005. The focus was on economic developments in Germany: Is globalisation causing enterprises to shift jobs abroad on a large scale via outsourcing and offshoring, and is Germany in danger of developing into a bazaar economy?
