EPD service providers: Business recovery gains momentum

The Ifo business climate indicator for software and data-processing services clearly improved in the last quarter of 2004. The EPD service providers not only see a brighter future but they also gave improved assessments of their current business situation. At the same time, reports of low order stocks declined. Employment in German software and data-processing services has shown the first signs of recovery, with positive employment now predominant in the survey responses.
