For enterprises in manufacturing, the conditions for borrowing money have again improved. This is the result of the August Ifo Business Survey. Although 35% of the companies still responded that the banks are restrictive in granting loans, 57% considered the lending practices to be "normal". The remaining 8% replied that the lending institutes were very accommodating. Correspondingly the credit climate in manufacturing improved within a year from -41.6 to -26.9.
