Wholesaling (west):
Upward trend continues

The slight improvement of the business conditions in west German wholesaling results from the continuation of the upturn in producer-industrial customer trade, whereas in the consumer goods trade (including food and beverages) the negative judgements again dominated more strongly. A similar picture was observed for the business expectations. On average, inventory pressure eased, but order plans indicate even more cuts than before.
