Ifo Business Survey for November 2004

The business climate in German trade and industry clouded over in November after having remained stable for the previous three months. The enterprises again assessed their current business situation more unfavourably, but especially the business expectations deteriorated. In western Germany both components of the climate indicator trended downwards, but in eastern Germany the business climate improved. Here especially the judgments of the current business situation were better.
