Satisfactory business situation

The business situation in east German wholesaling has reached a satisfactory level, but increased scepticism was expressed regarding the business outlook. Although the high inventory pressure increased, the order plans were clearly less restrictive than in the west. The wholesalers still see scope for price increases in west Germany but this scope seems to have narrowed in the east.
