Declining inventory pressure

The eastern German wholesale businesses again judged their current business situation as not very satisfactory, and pessimism with regard to future developments increased again somewhat. Although excess inventories were reduced, at least in part, the firms plan further restrictions in order activity, although this is not as widespread as before. In eastern Germany price increases are expected more frequently in the coming months than in the west.
