Confidence still low

Eastern German wholesalers expressed clearly increased pessimism with respect to future business. Since inventory pressure has eased only a little, order plans were revised downwards. On the whole, however, the current business situation was judged a little less negatively than in the previous month. While eastern German wholesalers see chances for raising sales prices in the coming months, their colleagues in the west see a stable price trend.
