Confidence weakened

Unlike western Germany, in the east enterprises intend to expand production in the coming months, although they too complain about inadequate order reserves. Sales prices remained stable in western Germany, in the east they have been lowered. Scope for increased prices in the coming months was only reported from the west. Staff reductions are expected to continue in both parts of Germany.
