Employee equity participation and insolvency protection for employee capital investments

From a business and economic standpoint, employee equity participation in the companies they work for raises a number of interesting questions. In recent years increased efforts have been undertaken in comprehensive and systematic studies to determine the actual spread of employee capital investments in Germany. This year the Ifo Institute also conducted a survey at the company level. The results of this survey are presented in the article.
