Outlooked marked by scepticism

While West-German wholesalers judged their business situation less negatively than in the previous month due to increased sales, east German wholesalers worried about significant sales losses and excessive inventories. East German companies have a pessimistic view of the business outlook and increasingly plan to restrict their ordering activity. As in west Germany their ordering plans continue to point downwards.
