In January and February 2001, the Ifo Institute conducted its 24th quarterly survey of EDP service providers. The majority of the surveyed businesses still indicated that their business situation was good, but assessments are down 14 percentage points from the peak reached in the Summer of 1999, and the outlook for the coming months is also viewed with more caution.
