No improvement in sight

In east Germany, a less unfavourable assessment of the business situation stood in contrast to increased pessimism regarding the business outlook. Both survey panels reported an improved equipment utilisation (both at about 62%) over the previous month, but the February level was only reached in east Germany. Pressure on prices is expected to weaken.
