Continuing strong reduction of personnel

In east Germany pessimism regarding the business outlook has abated, but the current situation for building construction and civil engineering was assessed even more unfavourably than in September. Equipment utilisation at 66% was higher than 12 months ago. Whereas west German firms feel that price increases can be enforced, contractors in east Germany expect price pressure to continue.
