The European Union at a Crossroads
The 67th Annual Meeting of the Ifo Institute took place on Thursday, 28 April 2016 in the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Große Aula). The ifo Annual Meeting and consists of a closed session (General Meeting, Meeting of the Board of Trustees) and a public session with an analysis of the economy by the president of the ifo Institute and guest speakers from business and politics.
As part of Ifo’s Annual Meeting, which is jointly organised by the Ifo Institute and the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at the University of Munich, Prof. Clemens Fuest was inaugurated as Ifo President. “The European Union at a Crossroads” was the focus of his inaugural speech. This topical issue was addressed by other speakers and in a chaired discussion (in English).
